Every app here is a well-known project with a public repository, an active maintainer and a release history worth trusting. 16 of the 19 listings are licensed as free software; the remaining few are source-available or proprietary, and each one is labelled as such on its page rather than quietly dropped.

Where the data comes from

Version numbers, file sizes, minimum and target SDK levels, native CPU targets and the full permission list are read from F-Droid's published index-v2.json at build time. For apps distributed through GitHub, the release metadata, asset name, file size and star count come from the GitHub Releases API. Editorial text — taglines, blurbs and the feature lists — is written for this store.

Nothing is re-hosted. The download button on each page points at f-droid.org/repo/ or at a GitHub release asset, so the file you download is the file the project published. F-Droid builds carry a published SHA-256 in the index, so you can check what you got against what the index claims before installing it.

Design and typography

The interface is built on Material Design 3. The colour scheme is a full M3 tonal palette expressed in oklch(), seeded from a single hue so that the entire set of roles re-derives when you change the accent — the same trick Material You plays with your wallpaper on Android. Elevation is tonal rather than a stack of drop shadows, shapes follow the M3 corner scale, and motion uses the emphasised and standard easing curves with prefers-reduced-motion respected throughout.

The typeface is Figtree, licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Google's own Google Sans is a proprietary corporate face that is not available for redistribution, so Figtree — an open-source geometric humanist with a very similar rhythm and proportions — is used instead. Weights 300 to 900 are served as a single variable WOFF2 file, about 20 KB, self-hosted and cached forever.

It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, F-Droid, the FOSSIFY project, Fossify, Lawnchair Launcher, Breezy Weather, the FUTO Foundation, Aurora, KeePassDX, Telegram, Meta Platforms or any other project named on it. Every app name, logo and icon remains the property of its respective owner and is referenced here for identification. Icons are served from each project's own published repository or from F-Droid's index, unmodified.
